Like many great stories, ours begins at a house party—one of those nights where you don’t quite know what to expect. We met through our amazing mutual friend Bri, who unknowingly changed the course of our lives with a simple introduction. It took us a little while (and maybe a bit of liquid courage) to finally start talking to each other that night, but once we did, everything just clicked.

That summer turned into one of the best times of our lives—full of late-night talks, spontaneous adventures, and way too much time spent partying and trying to make each other laugh. But love doesn’t always follow a convenient schedule, and soon we found ourselves navigating long-distance while Boyd was studying at Concordia College in Moorhead and Katie was at St. Cloud State. It wasn’t always easy, but we made it work with lots of phone calls, road trips, and countdowns to the next time we’d see each other.

Two years later, the long-distance ended and a new chapter began—moving in together in our cozy St. Cloud apartment, where we now share life with our two adorable cats.

Now we’re so excited to take the next step—celebrating our love with all of you. We can’t wait to say “I do” and start this new adventure together, surrounded by the people who’ve supported us every step of the way.
