Attire: As you are but we are going to try to look "nice." We recommend good footwear as it is a ranch.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Prochko would like to invite everyone to join us at the family ranch for a welcome party! There will be food, music, dancing, and celebrating. Imagine this welcome party more akin to your traditional "wedding reception." We have folks coming from all over, so we want to give you a big welcome to Texas and big thank you for coming to witness our wedding.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Sacrament of Matrimony
Saturday, April 26, 2025
1:00 PM
Church of the Visitation
144 County Road 3000, Lott, TX, 76656, United States
Attire: Dress code is Sunday best. The Church of the Visitation states, “Proper attire should be modest and reverent.”
Our Sacrament of Matrimony will take place during this year's Easter Octave, on the Saturday within the Octave, which means per Liturgical Law we will be celebrating the Mass of the Day, rather than a ritual Mass. Therefore, we will not be selecting readings and it will follow the Mass of the Day - so bring your “Magnificat”!
The Mass will be the Novus Ordo Mass in Latin, with the readings and marriage rite and blessing in English. To aid your participation in the liturgy, a program will be provided with the texts and music in both English and Latin.
A Toast and Light Reception
Saturday, April 26, 2025
2:15 PM–3:45 PM
Church of the Visitation
144 County Road 3000, Lott, TX, 76656, United States
We will not be hosting a sit-down reception but rather a toast, light reception, and send off in the church front courtyard. We will toast to our covenant, eat some Czech and Guyanese sweets, and take some photos.
Optional After Party
Saturday, April 26, 2025
5:00 PM
Straight Ahead Ranch
10049 The Grove Road, Gatesville, Texas, 76528
Attire: Casual! Good footwear!
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Prochko would like to invite you to head on back to the family ranch for an after party after the toast at the Church of the Visitation. This is completely optional. Veronika and Braden may make an appearance, but we know you came all this way and if you would like to keep the party going, please do so! We love getting together with friends and family and so we want you to have more time to celebrate despite our desire to keep our actual wedding and reception simple.
This party will also be a time to celebrate Veronika's brother, Travis, and his wife, Marina, who got married last year over in Japan! The more the merrier!
