Travel Information

We’re so excited to have you join us in the beautiful Adirondacks for our special weekend! Here are a few travel details to make your journey easier:

Cell Service

Cell service will start to fade about 15 minutes before you reach camp. It’s a great chance to unplug and enjoy the surroundings. If you really need to stay connected, see our Q&amp;A page for more info. Clear signage will guide you the rest of the way, and we promise—Oswegatchie’s peaceful setting is worth the journey.

~ 2 hour drive from Syracuse, NY&nbsp;~ 1 hour 30 mins from Camden or Utica, NY

Airports

~ 2 hour drive from Syracuse Hancock International Airport~ 1 hour 15 mins from Lowville International Airport

If you're staying Saturday night, you can check in anytime after 10 AM at Sutliff, the first main building at Oswegatchie. A staff member will help you get settled into your lodging. After check-in, feel free to explore! Enjoy yard games, volleyball, basketball, hiking trails, or take a canoe or kayak out on the lake. Whether you're up for adventure or just want to relax, there's something for everyone.

Lodging for Our Camp-Inspired Weekend

We’re so excited to have you join us for a weekend of celebration, adventure, and memories at our summer camp wedding! Since this will be a true camp experience, the accommodations reflect the outdoorsy, laid-back vibe we love. Just a heads-up: once you're about 15 minutes from camp, you’ll lose cell service—so consider this your chance to fully unplug.&nbsp;Here’s what you can expect:

On-Site Accomodations:

On-site lodging &amp; breakfast for all our guests is included at no extra charge and will be in a mix of shared spaces and more private options to suit different comfort levels. All accommodations are rustic and camp-style but still cozy and fun. Private Rooms/Cabins: Reserved for families and older couples, private rooms are located in buildings with electricity and shared bathrooms. A few cabins also have electricity, but you'll need to use nearby bathhouses. Bunk Rooms: Embrace the camp spirit! Each campsite includes three cozy, mattress-filled cabins, a lean-to, and a fire pit. There’s no electricity—just you, nature, and s’mores under the stars. Feel free to park it in one of our designated spots.

Bedding

This is a rustic camp, so please bring your own pillows, sheets, and blankets! Sleeping bags are also great for campsite cabins—fall nights in the Adirondacks can get chilly. We'll have a limited supply on hand just in case, but it's best to pack what you'll be most comfortable with.

Off-Site Accommodations

If you prefer a bit more privacy or comfort, there are a couple of nearby options. While the property is remote, we’ve found a few spots within a 15-30 minute drive from the camp: 2 Bed &amp; Breakfasts (20-35 minutes away) – These are quaint and charming spots where you can enjoy a bit more of a homey feel. We have blocked off all 10 rooms at these B&amp;Bs for any guests needing more standard accommodations.<a href="https://atbeautiful.smugmug.com/Bed-2" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">All Things Beautiful Bed &amp; Breakfast</a> &amp; <a href="https://www.1812houselowville.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">1812 House</a> Ridge View Lodge (35 minutes away) – For a more traditional hotel experience, this budget style hotel option is a 35-minute drive from the camp in Lowville, NY.<a href="https://ridge-view.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Ridge View Lodge</a> Airbnbs – With about four months to go, there are still around 20–25 Airbnb listings available within a 30-minute drive—lots of different sizes and price points to choose from.

 ﻿Sleeping Arrangements Preferences

To help us finalize the arrangements, we’ll be asking for your sleeping preferences by July 15th latest. This will help us place everyone in the accommodations that best suit their needs, whether you’re looking for a bunk room, a cozy cabin, or something a little more private.&nbsp;We’re so excited to spend the weekend with you in this beautiful, rustic setting, and we can’t wait to celebrate in style—camp style!

Even if you're not staying over, I still recommend bringing at least a sweater/coat, if not warmer clothes for later into the reception.

While we’re planning to have a solid selection, if there’s something specific you love, feel free to bring it along… coolers, flasks, bottles, or a few extras to share are all welcome here.

We’re getting married at the Oswegatchie Educational Center in Croghan, NY—tucked into the foothills of the Adirondacks and looking out over Long Pond. It’s peaceful, a little off the grid, and feels like the perfect place to unplug and be with our favorite people. Oswegatchie Educational Center is a year-round outdoor learning and adventure facility operated by the New York FFA. It focuses on leadership, personal growth, and environmental education through hands-on experiences in nature. With over 1,200 acres of forests, trails, and waterfront, it’s also home to beloved summer camp programs—ones that Kendra attended as a kid! Now, we’re so excited to return to this special place with all of you as we celebrate our love in this unique, beautiful setting.
