Our Wedding

Erin and Brandon met the modern way:&nbsp;by swiping right on Bumble during the summer of 2021. They had their first date at Stoneycreek brewery, but both of them have a slightly different version as to how it started... Erin thought that Brandon had ghosted her after not hearing from him all day leading up to their date (it was at 4 PM btw!). He had sent her an unrelated text the night before, but then never answered her after her reply. So, she stayed in bed all day wallowing in her self pity, assuming the date was a wash. Meanwhile, Brandon was getting ready for his date, taking Erin's word that she would meet him at Stoneycreek at 4 PM, regardless of confirming day of. Around 3:30 PM, Brandon finally messaged Erin to let her know that he was on his way and just got a late start. This obviously horrified Erin, and she contemplated ghosting him instead in embarassment! Thankfully she came clean, and Brandon was "gracious" enough to kill some time and meet Erin a little bit later so she could get ready. Thankfully once finally together, Erin and Brandon could agree that the beginning was history, and they both had an amazing time! Since then Brandon and Erin have made themselves busy enjoying life together. Some of their favorite memories are: seeing Halsey in Nashville, attending MANY baseball games, date nights at Rory's, Sunday football at Art's, shared espresso martinis, bonfires in the backyard, floats down the Sacco river and of course, the most important of all, getting in engaged in Las Vegas, NV!

How it began

Brandon, Erin and a few close friends planned a long weekend getaway to Las Vegas earlier in 2023. Little did Erin know, that Brandon had planned to propose to Erin during the trip. Brandon planned for months to make sure that the trip would be an unforgettable one. While Erin was planning on what the crew would do in Vegas, Brandon was secretly planning with Erin's parents to make sure that they would be in on the surprise. On the day of the proposal, Brandon and Erin went to the Venetian to have brunch and what Erin thought would be a day on the Strip while the rest of the crew decorated the AirBnb for a celebration. Meanwhile, at brunch, Brandon asked Erin if she would like to go on a gondola ride since it's a big attraction for the hotel. Erin agreed and off they went to get in a long line for the ride. While waiting in line, our crew, Erin's parents and brother were secretly waiting for them to pass under the bridge they were on. On the ride, Brandon and Erin were serenaded by the Gondolier Piolt and were able to take in the sights of the ride. Towards the end of the ride, the Venetian's lights were lowered and Brandon saw the signal. As Brandon and Erin went under the last bridge, Brandon looked at Erin and she looked up and saw in the sky, a projected "Will you Marry Me?". Brandon also said to Erin to turn around where our family and friends were waiting. Once she was able to stop crying she told the awaiting crowd "yes". After the ride, they were able to celebrate with their Engagement Crew and took pictures all over the resort. They also returned back to the AirBnb where the party continued.

The Engagement

Erin and Brandon are so excited to be planning their wedding for October, 2024. After recently moving in together, Brandon and Erin are beginning to decorate and make their house into a home. As they settle in they are excited to explore the local area more especially, Lake Wintergreen. Erin and Brandon are looking forward to hosting more BBQ's in the future and creating more memories with the people they love. As Brandon and Erin prepare for the future they are extremely grateful for their family and friends who have always supported them every step of the way. Without your love and influence, neither of them would be the people they are today. They look forward to celebrating with you all on October 19th, 2024.

Brandon and Erin invite their guests to join them at the Marriott Hotel for their wedding weekend hotel accommodations. Transportation will be provided to and from the Marriott for the wedding ceremony and reception. Late-night wedding drinks will be hosted at the Marriott as well as post-wedding Sunday brunch! 20+ rooms have been reserved at a rate of $209+tax for their guests. Parking has been lowered to a rate of $10 too. Brandon and Erin have reserved 20 single rooms for $159.00+tax for Friday, October 18th, 2024, and Saturday, October 19th, 2024 for any of their wedding guests who wish to stay the night in Stamford. Transportation will be NOT be provided directly from the Hilton. Our guests are encouraged to uber (5/10 minute drive) or park at the Marriott for an easier commute to and from the wedding ceremony &amp; reception. There is a small fee to park at the Marriott. **Please note**The wedding after party and brunch will be taking place at the Marriott Hotel. Transportation will not be provided to these events during wedding weekend. These rooms will be held on a first-come first served basis until 5 PM EST Friday, September 20, 2024. Because the rooms are held on a courtesy basis, it is important that you book your rooms as soon as possible.
