Prescott National Forest also for exploring and there is a nature center there.

For people with kids, there is a splash pad that is free, next to the Hilton Garden Inn.

The Sharlot Hall Museum, it has great Arizona history in a display of Native American artifacts.

Watson Lake, which I've heard people can canoe in.

Hiking in the Granite Dells. The views are spectacular.  There is a nice restaurant on Lynx Lake.
