Our Love Story

The Beginning For years, Breanna and William prayed and patiently waited for the person God had prepared for them. After completing dental school in Kentucky, William returned to his hometown of Dallas, Texas, where he began attending the church Breanna called home- Greenville Avenue church of Christ. Though they had never met, William added Breanna as a friend on Facebook and sent her a message. What began as a simple hello quickly turned into meaningful conversation and plans for a first date.

First Date Their first date began at Vidorra and effortlessly flowed into putt-putt golf and a stop at a dessert shop. The evening was filled with laughter and easy conversation, and William left knowing Breanna might be “the one.” The next day, on a second date at the Dallas Arboretum, Breanna began to feel the same.

The Early Days As they spent more time together, Breanna fell in love with William’s humor, kind spirit, and heart for God. William fell in love with her joyful laugh, intellect, compassionate heart, and deep faith. Just one month in, William asked Breanna to be his girlfriend at Oak Point Nature Preserve, surrounded by her favorite flowers- sunflowers- and she said yes!

The Engagement After seven months of intentional dating and numerous adventures together, William proposed to Breanna on June 28th, 2025, at the very place where she first fell in love with him—the Dallas Arboretum, surrounded by nature. Breanna happily said yes!

The Next ChapterCommitted to doing things God’s way, William and Breanna look forward to building a Christ-centered marriage rooted in faith, love, and purpose.
