Breanna and Caleb connected through a dating app in March of 2020. Breanna was studying at Purdue, while Caleb was working in Whitestown. They communicated with each other via texts, FaceTime, and phone calls for several months. In January 2021, Caleb visited Fort Wayne to help Breanna move into her first apartment. She prepared a homemade dinner for him, and they have been inseparable ever since. In April 2022, Breanna and Caleb moved in together with their two furbabies, Willow and Scooby.

Caleb and Breanna traveled to Santa Barbara for their friends' wedding in August 2022. While on vacation, they hiked to Inspiration Point to view the city, where Caleb proposed!
