Skyla is the bride’s little sister — the very same one Shelby used to push around in her dolls pram when she was a baby. She’s the life of the party, effortlessly keeping everyone entertained and always bringing the energy. With Skyla around, there’s never a dull moment. But no matter how much time passes, she’ll always be the little sister, a lifelong best friend and best gift from God.

The taller sibling (no one knows how that happened), but more importantly, the best, best man a brother could hope for. Undoubtedly the most hands on guy in the room—supportive, steady, and never without a good joke to lighten the moment. He has a way of making everyone feel at ease, whether it’s by lending a hand, lifting the mood, or lifting a drink in celebration. He’s a master at keeping everyone laughing and can definitely flick some moves on the dance floor when the music starts.

Sister of the groom and a true beacon of kindness, Lisa has one of the biggest hearts around. She never hesitates to go out of her way for others and is one of the most caring, supportive, and loving people we know. Her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued is just one of the many reasons we adore her. She is always up for a laugh, a drink, and a good time. We are endlessly grateful for everything she brings into our lives and couldn’t imagine this day without her by our side.

The Welsh dude — welcome to the family! Alex is quite the character and guaranteed to keep you giggling, whether it’s with his jokes or something hilariously random he’s said. You’ll never be short of entertainment when he’s around. We’re pretty sure he’ll be sipping Zambezis as his drink of choice on the big day!

The big cousin and our go-to advice giver, Chanelle has always been a role model in Shelby’s life. Her faith and strength are truly inspiring, and we feel so lucky to have her and her beautiful little family in our lives.

The childhood friend — Brendan and Dale share more memories than we could ever count, and the chaos they got up to as kids makes for some truly legendary stories. Dale’s a fishing enthusiast (oddly enough, he hates eating fish), and luckily for the rest of us, he’s not a fan of biltong either — more for everyone else!

Shelby’s little big cousin. The two spent countless hours in the kitchen as kids, whipping up all sorts of ‘culinary creations.’ One of their signature dishes? ‘Emmy bread’ — a highly questionable combo of butter and syrup on bread before it went in the toaster (do not try this at home!). How the house survived, we’ll never know — but the memories are priceless. One thing’s for sure: Emily will be on the dance floor all night long!

The fella from down under— known for his impressive beer-chugging skills and quick wit. He shares a lifetime of memories with Brendan from their younger days and is guaranteed to keep you laughing with his endless jokes and hilarious one-liners. A true entertainer at heart!

For those of you who know Shelby, you’ll know that she and Sancia were truly inseparable. Everything was done side by side — and yes, they were nothing short of iconic. From laughing until they cried, to endless DJ Garage sessions, and countless unforgettable moments, their bond is filled with the kind of memories that last a lifetime, a true Best friend.

An absolute cutie! He stole our hearts the moment we met him. Chanelle and Luke’s little boy has brought so much joy to all of us, and we’re so lucky to have his bright smile as part of our celebration.

Childhood friends — Beth and Shelby have been together since Grade 2.
