BE PREPARED TO BE HIGH UP

Being at these vantage points gives you stunning views but can also give you altitude sickness. Altitude sickness is like a hangover: headache, insomnia, fatigue. It's easy to avoid!
1. Hydrate
Drink lots of water and watch out for alcohol.
2. Ease into it
Your body is working hard to oxygenate your blood. So even if you can run 5 miles at home or drink 5 beers in a sitting, slow down. Too much too fast will catch up to you.
3. Medicate
Ibuprofen/Advil taken 3 times a day the day before and day of travel can help prevent altitude sickness. Your doctor can also prescribe you acetazolamide (ie - Diamox) to help prevent altitude sickness (to take before you feel symptoms).
We want everyone to enjoy the gorgeous views and have a good time!
