Our Wedding

Brennah and Mike met in Denver in October of 2019. Now they're getting married despite Yogi's objection. Some stuff happened in between, and someday we will add those details here.

We want everyone to feel comfortable and dress in something that makes them feel like themselves! Our venue is in a beautiful outdoor setting with some grassy / gravel walkways. Make sure to wear shoes that are stable! Festive attire and cocktail attire are similar, but with a few differences. While both require a level of formalwear, a festive dress code allows guests to have more flexibility and fun with their looks. Ladies: No floor length gowns needed! Lean into floral patterns or colors that remind you of the natural elements of Colorado! Want to wear a jumpsuit or pant suit? Go for it! Have fun with accessories and a fun pair of shoes. Guys: Suits, no ties! If you'd like, get creative with different textures and colors for your suit or dress shirt. Stay clear of jeans and khakis, but feel free to pair your suit with a pair of sneakers if you don’t like wearing dress shoes.

There are a bunch of awesome places to rent through AirBnb in both Boulder and Lyons. Please remember that our shuttle services will be departing from and returning to the above hotels and Uber / Lyft do not operate reliably in Lyons.

Airbnb

A wedding shuttle will take guests from Boulder to the venue on the day of the ceremony. The shuttle will stop at the above hotels. All guests planning to use the shuttle service must be at these hotels at 3:00PM in order to catch the shuttle. After the ceremony, the shuttles will stop at the After Party location prior to returning to the hotels. Please note, while you will be able to take a ride share service to the venue, you will not be able to take one back to Boulder after the ceremony. We suggest using the shuttles if you plan to drink.

Wedding Shuttle

There is parking at the venue for those who choose to drive to the wedding. However, vehicles cannot be left overnight. If you plan to drink, please utilize the shuttle service.

Parking

Again, you can take an Uber or Lyft to the ceremony, but you will not be able to use one to return home as the area is not reliably serviced by these companies. Please plan to use the shuttle if you need transportation to / from the venue or plan to drink. Uber/Lyft will be very reliable as a transportation source in/around Boulder and Denver.

Located about an hour from Boulder, it offers amazing views and hiking trails. Be sure to sign up for a timed entry slot, which is required during the summer months. More information can be found <a href="https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/timed-entry-permit-system.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here.</a>

Rocky Mountain National Park

Great spot for hiking and the chance to see a moose! We suggest making a parking reservation for the Brainard Lake lot, and then hiking to Lake Isabelle. It's a beautiful 6 mile hike that is not too challenging. More info on parking reservations can be found <a href="https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10087515" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.

A beautiful park at the base of the Flatirons, right in downtown Boulder. Great for hiking and taking in the sights.

Chautauqua Park

Nice park on Boulder Creek. Great for picnics or short walks.
