Both Boulder and Lyons are above 5,000 ft of elevation. If you are traveling in from a lower elevation, we suggest you hydrate a few days before your trip and during your stay. It is very dry in CO, so you will need to drink more water than you are used to. If you are very concerned about altitude sickness, you can take prescription medicine to help your body adjust starting two days before you travel.

There is a bus service, but it takes over an hour. Our suggestion is to either rent a car or take a ride share service.
