Staying in town for a day or two? Here are some of our favorite things to do in the Springfield/Branson area!
If you’ve never been to this amazing aquarium, you MUST go! It is nationally ranked as the best aquarium and is fun for people of all ages! They offer 1 and 2-day tickets with purchasing options available in-person and online. They are open 7 days a week.
The Springfield locals will remember this classic putt-putt and batting cages spot! Fun Acre is a small, family-owned business created in 1972 that offers inexpensive family-fun! Mini golf is just $3.00 a game for adults and $2.50 for children ages 4+. Batting cages are just 25 cents for 4 pitches. Hours are 10 am to 10 pm daily. As an added bonus, there is an Andy’s Frozen Custard located just down the street!
This is one of Brett and Maddie’s very favorite places to grab a sweet treat! They have delicious frozen custard, root beer floats, shakes, and seasonal treats!
This is easily one of Brett and Maddie’s go-to restaurants. Black Sheep has several locations in Springfield including several sit-down locations and two car-hop/drive-thru locations on Glenstone and Sunshine. You have to stop and try their delicious burgers, fries, and shakes while you are in town! Brett’s favorite shake is the Elvis, and Maddie’s go-to is the Espresso Yourself. Our favorite combo is the Born in the USA burger paired with the Truffle and Parmesan fries! They also offer alcoholic shakes.
