The wedding will take place outdoors on a farm right outside of San Marcos, Texas in the fall season. Our wedding colors consist of navy blue with gold finishes and a touch of a burnt orange. We will have a smooth integration of elegant decor with a peaceful rustic landscape. Garden party attire is encouraged. Men can wear jeans or slacks, boots or a formal dress shoe with a cowboy hat if wanted. Women can wear anything Semi Formal. Keep in mind the weather in Texas is unpredictable, so try to have a warm outfit on standby. None of the guests are allowed to wear any shade of white or ivory. If guests arrive in any shade of white or ivory you will be 1) asked to leave or 2) asked to change. No exceptions.
Where do I park?
As you arrive to the venue, we will have easy to follow roadside guidance to the parking lot. Golf carts will be provided and available on the property to shuttle our guests to and from the wedding site. The distance is walkable, but this is a good option for my women in heels.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony is over, our guests will be asked to enjoy cocktail hour under the covered reception area where we will be serving small appetizers, and the bar will be open for specialty drinks, your choice of mixed drinks, and beer.
Can I bring my kids?
Kids are welcome to join our celebration. However, if you are playing a key roll in the wedding that requires you to be away from your children for moments such as professional photos, getting ready with the bride, or if you’re a part of the ceremony itself, I would recommend having someone with you that you can count on to keep an eye on your babies. If you don’t have this option, I would recommend finding a sitter so that you can focus on being available for the bride and groom during their evening with you. With multiple moving parts, there’s nothing more stressful than having to tend to littles in the middle of an important moment.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation who have RSVP’d.
Can I bring a change of clothes?
Absolutely. We will have an after party at the same location that will include bass influenced electronic dance music. The bride and groom will be changing into more dance appropriate clothes after the wedding is over.
Do I have to RSVP?
YES!!!! We cannot stress this enough. The RSVP deadline is September 5, 2024. If you do not RSVP, the possibility of there being an extra plate will be very slim. Be mindful that the bride and groom are paying per head and will have to turn in final counts ahead of time.
