When should I RSVP by?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by July 2025. As you can imagine, a lot of planning is required for a destination wedding, so we want to make it as special as we can for those who are able to come.
There will be reminders and invitations as early as possible.
Welcome Party + Wedding Transportation:
There will be pre-arranged accommodations for getting to & from the city centre to Casale de Gallo for the wedding events. If you are interested in using this, please note this when you RSVP.
There is ample parking at the ceremony/reception venue, if you choose to rent a car. Taxis are also an option if you miss our accommodations.
Where is the Gift Registry?
We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you! Your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. Therefore, we kindly ask that you do not bring any gifts, and there will be no registry.
Are kids welcome?
We love you, and by extension adore your kids. However, we decided to make our day an adult-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
What will the weather be like?
The average temperature in Rome in late October is 64F with a range from 73F to 54F with temperatures cooling as the sun sets.
Are the wedding and reception indoors or outdoors?
Weather depending - everything will be held outdoors. In the event the weather isn't in our favour, we will adapt accordingly! The grounds around the Villa can be a little uneven in places with steps, gravel and grass throughout, so keep this in mind when packing footwear! For the ladies, a block heel maybe better than wearing a stiletto!

Eating is an event in Italy, often with multiple courses. However, breakfast/brunch is not a huge part of the culture. Expect to have a cornetto (pastry) and coffee in the morning, and that’s about it. Coffee is amazing, and is often consumed standing at the bar. Know that you will be judged if you order a cappuccino after 11 AM. And we will probably judge you a bit if you only order an Americano everywhere you go.
When eating at a restaurant, you will be asked to order all items (drinks, appetizers, and courses) at the same time, except for desserts which will come later. It is customary to have grappa (liquor) or limoncello after dinner as a “digestive” for your food.
It is not customary to take a box of food to go at the end of the meal; some restaurants may not even have “to go” boxes. Be prepared to finish your food at the restaurant.
When you want to pay and leave, you must ask for il conto (the check). Note that when asking for the check, this signals that you will be leaving immediately after paying. You can stay at a restaurant for as long as you like before paying, but after you pay you should not linger to finish your drink or order anything else.
