Our story began on New Years Day of 2022. We met at a bar called The Retreat for our first date and immediately hit it off. We are both shy by nature, but slowly we realized we had quite a bit in common, so talking became easy over time.

Over time, we became closer and built up trust. We've experienced a bit of what life has to offer in the four years we've been together.

We keep up with dates by going out to nice dinners, attending the renaissance fair in the summer time, enjoying Taste of Syracuse or any other food truck event, and going to orchestra concerts.

We've embarked on a few vacations as well. Mostly consisting of relaxing on cruises and the occasional theme park adventure.

But with all of the outings, we are mostly homebodies. We spend most nights together, cuddled up on the couch with our dog Mabel, catching up on drama series, anime, or movies. One of our earliest series we bonded over was Whose Line is it Anyway. We are extremely competitive Mario Party players, and support each others individual playthroughs of a multitude of RPGs.

As all of those memories have accumulated, we arrive at the proposal.

Brian took me out to Touché for dinner, and we coincidentally reminisced about our early stages of the relationship. It was a lovely dinner, and contrary to what you are thinking, no, he did not propose at the restaurant. We returned back home, and as I opened the door, Mabel greeted us as usual, but wearing her collar. Which was weird because she never wears one in the house. I came to realize there was satchel of sorts hanging off of the collar with our initials on it. Being so confused and caught off guard, Brian unhooked it, got down on one knee, and opened it. It was the ring I've always dreamed of, made by the jeweler I love. And long story short, he asked and, through tears, and I said "yes!"

And here we are today, planning our wedding!

We can't wait to celebrate our love and commitment to each other with all of you, our friends and family.
