During a time of growth and transition, as we were both becoming Marines, we found love in the midst of shared challenges and quiet moments of needing one another. When one of us felt like giving up, the other stood firmly in their place — offering strength, protection, and belief without question. In moments of loneliness or doubt, we learned how to truly see each other — not just for who we were, but for who we were becoming. We became one another’s safe place, constant support, and home. From the very beginning, it felt like love at first sight, and that connection has grown into a bond built on trust, devotion, and choosing one another every single day.
