Paxton is my older brother and my best man. He is a first grade teacher at Brookside Charter School. He is also working to complete his masters degree in Education. Paxton's smile is contagious and he has been working crowds since he was in diapers. They say you can't pick your family, but I am happy to call him my brother. He has been a part of some of my fondest memories and biggest challenges. We can go weeks with barely talking and then pick back up right where we left off. He is one of my biggest role models and I wouldn't be the man that I am today without his guidance. I am happy to have you by my side on my wedding day.

Kayla is my little sister and maid of honor. We share an obsession for cats and a love for traveling anywhere that requires packing a swimsuit. She will finish up her undergrad degree in Biology a year early and will graduate from Iowa State the weekend before the wedding. She has plans to continue her education to become a dentist or dermatologist or something else super cool. I love shopping with Kayla because she is honest about what looks good or bad. This is a public apology for being the slowest at trying on clothes. Please keep taking me to the mall with you! The older we get, the more I realize how lucky I am to have her as my sister and friend.

Weston is my younger brother. His is currently a Sophomore at Mizzou. Weston is the coolest one out of my brothers. He is always doing fun stuff and looking good while he is doing it. He is also the most wild of all of my brothers, but at the same time, he is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met. He has an unmistakably huge heart and is an easy person to talk to. He is one of the first people offering to help out with anything you need. Weston is definitely not one of the groomsmen to be underestimated and I am sure that he will make this day extra special.

Doro and I met freshman year at Iowa State when we were assigned to be random roommates in Helser Hall. We immediately became best friends and did everything together. After college, Doro became a project manager in the Des Moines area and had two “fur-babies” named Chloe and Cooper. At the very end of 2018 Mitch proposed to Doro, and they are also planning a wedding for the summer of 2020! Mitch and Doro bought their first home this year and since it's not socially acceptable to still be roommates after we are both married, you'll have to let me know when the house next door goes up for sale.

Grayston is my youngest brother. He is a junior at Park Hill High School. He may be younger than me, but he is bigger and will be taller than me soon. I honestly don’t know where the time went with this kid. I remember him as a baby and now it seems like every day he is growing more and more. Every single day I am more impressed with the man Grayston has become and I am excited to watch as he continues to grow. I am thrilled to have Grayston as a part of my wedding party.

I have known Sarah since I was born. In order to explain our friendship I would need an extensive and embarrassing slideshow presentation. When we were younger, Sarah, Kayla, Abby (Sarah’s sister) and I were an inseparable and dangerous combination. I’m still not sure how my mom and momma D handled all of us at once. This description doesn't do Sarah justice, but she is fun, spontaneous, kind, and the life of the party. Even after 24 years together I still can't predict some of her actions and always have to be ready for her bizarre stories. On top of being one of the most interesting people I know, she is also very smart and currently attends law school in Minnesota.

Jessica has been one of my best friends for my whole life and we have gone through just about everything by each other’s sides. Jess is so thoughtful and always makes me feel loved even though we unfortunately don't live close enough to hang out all the time. She got engaged to Kyle last summer and they are also planning a wedding for the summer of 2020. There is just something truly magical about planning your wedding at the same time as your best friend! They recently made the move back to Iowa (I’m so jealous) and bought their first home which is impeccably decorated. They also have an adorable puppy Renner.

Canten is one of my best friends from high school. He graduates from Mizzou in May and plans to go to law school. He definitely adds to the laughter and excitement with this group and may be the most level-headed out of the bunch. No matter how far away we are, we always stay in touch. It really doesn't matter how much time has passed because we always just pick up where we left off. Some of my best memories were with Canten, at the Lake of the Ozarks, tubing, fishing, and just messing around. I am honored to have him share a part in our day.

Mik and I met during our freshman year at Iowa State where we lived just down the hall from each other in Helser. I tell people that Mik was my "third roommate” because Mik, Doro, and I spent every moment we were awake together. We used to have wine nights that consisted of snacks, wine, music, and human body part flashcards to help Mik prepare for her tests. She is still studying the human body in her graduate program at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Mik was the first one to come visit Colston and I after we moved to D.C. and we had an absolute blast exploring the city together!

Anthony (AKA Zero) is one of my best friends from college. He will be graduating from Iowa State in May. Zero and I hit it off from day one. He is the definition of a social butterfly. Zero is one of the main reasons why Bri and I met. Zero had a class with Bri and put in a good word for me and she finally agreed to go on a date with me after I asked her out 7 times. Zero is one of the nicest and most genuine people that you will ever meet and he would do anything for anyone in a heartbeat. Anthony is the life of the party and will definitely be a memorable part of our wedding day.

Nikki is also going to become a DiBlasi this year! She is marrying Paxton, Colston’s older brother, in October. She is almost done getting her PHD in civil and environmental engineering and earth sciences from Notre Dame. Over the years we have bonded over our love of cats, clever remarks, and Malbec. She also provides some of the best advice, especially about wedding planning!
