Our Wedding

Growing up in Lumberton, Gary and Brianne did not meet until high school. Although neither recalls the exact introduction, they have been a constant in one another’s lives since. Gary and Brianne were involved in the same clubs and activities, growing their friendship along the way. Through Ski Club and Red and White Night, Gary and Brianne got to know one another better. After a short-winded teen fling, they continued their friendship into college. Through college and after, the two kept in touch. They met for coffee or drinks here and there, always wished each other happy birthdays (other than the one Brianne forget and Gary never lets her forget), and caught up every month or so. They were always supportive of one another, an ear to listen, or a sounding-board for advice. During the Summer of 2020, Brianne and Gary caught up one night over white claws on the back porch of his parent’s house, and something felt different. Sixteen months, an apartment, and a perfect puppy later, Gary proposed to Brianne at Copper’s favorite place, Smithville Park.
