How did it happen?

A few weeks before Bridget met Dylan, she boldly proclaimed to her mother and sisters that she would "never date or marry anyone". A month after that announcement, Bridget called her mom to inform her that she was dating someone. Now almost three years later, a marriage is happening! Bridget and Dylan met at Grand Canyon University through a mutual friend who invited Bridget to an Ikea trip with some of his friends. It was through this excursion that Dylan and Bridget became fast friends through multiple hangouts, gym session, and inside jokes. Bridget developed feelings and told Dylan of those feelings in order to "get over it". After more talks, prayers with God, and stubbornness, they went on their first date to Village Inn after church one day where Dylan asked Bridget if she'd be interested in dating. She said yes (to Dylan's surprise), and they started a friendship filled relationship working on getting closer to God and one another. Some fun facts about their relationship:-they are both big fans of Italian food and Star Wars-Dylan was the first to say "I love you"-Bridget loves to dance, and Dylan loves to make her happy by dancing with her Much of there relationship has been over long distance with Bridget going back to Iowa over the summers and Dylan going back to California after graduation, but they have been able to see God's hand in their relationship and growing together as people. They are both excited to celebrate their marriage with you all!
