After meeting in October of 2019 and texting about travel plans and foods they like to eat, Bridget and Reza had their first date at Halal Bros, a local middle eastern spot started in Austin.

Both would later say there were sparks flying over their kebabs, and a mutual connection that both wanted to continue nurturing. By December, they made things official, and have been together ever since.

Reza proposed on New Year's Eve 2023 after an escape room game with friends, surprising Bridget, who of course, said yes.

Bridget and Reza have experienced the stress and uncertainty of COVID together, along with trying to plan their future careers. Leaning on each for support during these times has helped them grow as a couple and feel stronger in their relationship and the respect they have for each other. They bought a house in November 2023 in Liberty Hill, and adopted a blue heeler mix named Bella in April 2024.

Bridget graduated with her master's in nursing education in January 2025, and Reza continues to thrive as a relator in the greater Austin area.
