Bridget and Anthony met on September 8th, 2018 and immediately clicked. Fun fact: the picture above was taken that very night! A once spontaneous visit to Bridgewater State led to now planning their wedding.

When Anthony first laid eyes on Bridget, he immediately knew she was the one. "It was the presence she had when she entered a room", as Anthony describes.

If you ask Anthony what 'won Bridget over' the first time they met, he would say it was all in his show stopping pickup line: "Do you recycle?" - Seriously, those were the first words he said to her. In Anthony's defense, as soon as he laid eyes on her, he knew he needed to act fast and immediately walked over to her without a plan. With an empty bottle in his hand, that was the only thing he could think of.... and... well it worked, didn't it?!

To this day, one of Bridget's favorite things to tell everyone is that Anthony took her to Applebees for their first date.... however, Anthony would clarify that it was actually a movie and THEN Applebees. Even though some might consider both options as not the best first date ideas, the conversation and compatibility they shared on this date proved that the two had undeniable chemistry and could be anywhere while doing anything and still enjoy each other's company.

Despite the two being miles apart at separate colleges, their connection was undeniable. Their love for one another only grew stronger as they proved to be "virtually" ;) inseparable; staying on hour long FaceTime calls and hanging out whenever they could. Even Mr. Smyth knew that their relationship had to be something special after getting alllll the EZ-Pass bills in the mail from Bridget spontaneously driving to Nichols to see Anthony; only to drive back to Bridgewater the same night.

After 7 years of hikes, weekend trips, and coffee shop adventures, both Anthony and Bridget will tell you how they often reminisce about the memories they have shared with each other and how time has flown by.

We could not have possibly imagined the tremendous support and unconditional love we would receive from all the incredible people in our lives throughout our journey; All of it, leading up to this day. A day where we get to celebrate not only our love for each other but also celebrate all of the amazing people who have influenced, strengthened and inspired our love story along the way. We are beyond excited to have you all take part in this day of celebration and are so thankful to everyone who has supported and inspired us to be the people we are today!
