Kelly Smyth - Officiant
I’m Kelly, Bridget’s sister—I’ve known her my whole life. I met Anthony right after their first date back in 2019, and it didn’t take long to see they were something special. These two are always up to something—traveling, laughing, planning the next big thing—and now, apparently, collecting New Balances. Anthony’s love for sneakers has officially rubbed off on Bridget, and let’s just say their relationship is built on a solid foundation… of cushioned soles and matching colorways. They really are solemates, and I can’t wait to celebrate this perfect pair!
Maggie Dreishpoon - Maid of Honor
I met Bridget many years ago when we were young cherubs in the Hull school system. It was her bubbly attitude and unstoppable friendliness that got me hooked. I am lucky to have undoubtedly found my lifetime best friend and soul sister in Bridget Grace Smyth . Growing up we would spend the days relaxing in hammocks and the nights in Kim’s backyard around the fire with Bridget’s guitar. We shared many firsts together and have supported each other through the ups and downs of life so far. We used to look across the Hull bay at Boston and talked about our dreams of living together in “the big city” and now we have grown up (some) and live right down the street from one another! I love our walks and runs and mid day lunch breaks. I met Anthony during college when he and Bridget first started dating and I could tell right away how great a match they were for one another. I figured this meant now Bridget and I had to stop referring to each other as “my wife” and “my babe”. Anthony is a great partner to Bridget and a great friend to me, I’m so happy they have found such a beautiful love in one another and I am beyond excited to witness their special day.
Jake Sargent - Best Man
Hola! Anthony and I met during our freshman year at Nichols College. Like most new students, we were both eager to make the most of our time at Nichols. While we met during our first year, it was not until sophomore year that we truly bonded after Anthony asked, “yo, you follow that quad guy instagram too?” Referring to some fitness influencer who had monster legs, which was all we cared about then, in addition to trying to figure out how many White Claws we needed for the weekend. That simple question about quads led to years of workouts, traveling to Spain for a semester together (queue the “Hola” to start this paragraph), and countless highs and lows of life that we have relied heavily on each through. I am beyond excited to celebrate Anthony, and his incredible wife to be, Bridget. Much love for my favorite couple.
Samantha Giannini - Bridesmaid
I met Bridget in 2018, I was a freshmen in college, and Anthony happened to live at the dorm building next to mine. He texted me one night telling me he needed a pan bc he wanted to make pizza bites. Next thing you know, him and Bridget are in my dorm room to borrow our pan as I sit on the floor, our first conversation topic somehow turned into why we call a dresser an armoire. Since that day, we’ve been buddies, we’ve been bunsen’s, and we’re about to be sisters for life.
Riley Larsson - Groomsmen
I met Anthony freshman year of highschool in 2012. We immediately hit it off talking about basketball and the NBA, comparing stars and sharing social media posts. We had a few classes together and later joined the BG (Bishop Guertin) basketball team, where our friendship would flourish. Leading us to championship winning intramural teams, late night talks, failed backyard tenting, a rival to lift with, and more like a brother than a friend of 13 years ongoing. Meeting Bridget was as easy as meeting Anthony. It was a party at Anthony's parents, we had a great conversation, and I saw how happy they were together. It's been a privilege to know them and have seen them grow together.
Sierra Thiabult - Bridesmaid
Bridget and Sierra first met through their boyfriends (at the time, soon to be both husbands!) soon after Bridget and Anthony started dating. What started as a friendship based solely on group hangouts turned into an independent friendship where the two can now yap for hours. Bridget and Sierra have become close friends who enjoy their coffee and margarita dates and love their walk and talks. Sierra has even gone as far as to venture into Boston for early morning walks with Bridget on occasion and has vowed to never park on Riverway again (sorry Anthony). Sierra is grateful to have such a loyal friend, and appreciates Bridget’s golden retriever personality (even when it forces conversations in public that Sierra is not always down for). Sierra cannot wait to celebrate Bridget and Anthony on their special day.
Andrew Thibault - Groomsmen
Andrew and Anthony met early in their high school careers as freshman at Bishop Guertin. Playing both basketball and baseball together, it didn’t take long for them to become close. They were throwing partners for their entire careers, which was a labor of love in itself as Andrew never quite knew where the ball was going. Sports aside, Andrew and Anthony have built a lifelong friendship. In a busy adult life, they still always find time to get together, whether it’s exploring food in Boston, or setting up an intense Mario Kart night with their friends. Andrew still tries to get Anthony to unretire from baseball. One of these years it’ll work.
Gill Holdsworth - Bridesmaid
Gill met Bridget through her husband Cam. Cam and Anthony have been best friends since high school. The first time they met was at Anthony’s parent’s house when Gill met most of Cam’s high school friends. Gill remembers being extremely nervous meeting everyone that night but Bridget’s kind, genuine and outgoing personality made her worries go away. Over the years the girls (aka the Eleanors) have gotten extremely close. Going on vacations, sending daily voice memos and having so many girls nights where they stay up and giggle. Gill couldn’t imagine a world without Bridget and is so excited to watch both Anthony and Bridget have the most amazing life together!
Cam Holdsworth - Groomsmen
Tony and I met in high school at Bishop Guertin and became close friends throughout high school. In Spanish class we played more soccer stars and madden mobile then learning Spanish. After high school we stayed close with multiple trips to my lake house, our friends beach house, and even going to Canada with our friends. Tony has been one of my best friends through out my life as a friend I can always count on him to be there for me. I had the privilege of having Tony being apart of my Wedding and now I’m just as excited to be apart of his.
Toni Tata - Bridesmaid
Bridget and I met freshman year of college - which we've just realized was 8 years ago... now we feel old! We clicked pretty instantly and became roommates sophomore year, which led to a shameful amount of french onion dip being consumed, but also a friendship that's lasted ever since. When she met Anthony junior year, it was so obvious she had found her person. That chapter of our lives will always be one of the most memorable, but honestly, this next phase getting to stand beside Bridget as she marries Anthony-is quickly becoming my favorite. I'm beyond honored to call both of them my friends, and I can't wait to celebrate them!
P.S. if anyone is ever looking for a wedding officiant, highly recommend Bridget .. she killed it - 5 stars.
Chris Fischer - Groomsmen
I have known Anthony since summer before high school, but we were not friends until a few years later. One of the first things that he said to me was “you did summer basketball one year and you made some sick passes.” Giving me a compliment one of the first times we’ve met, yeah I could tell we would be friends. That is probably the last compliment we have also given each other as we show our love to each other in some cruder ways, but we would not have it any other way. We grew much closer throughout the years, enjoying incredible academia at our private school, seeing who could yell louder from the bench of our senior year baseball team, and caught ourselves in some cultural dilemmas in Spanish classes, which were some of my favorites. From NH to Paris, where we talked but never actually met up(his fault), we have done a lot together and no matter how long we go apart, we always pick it up where we left off, with a friendly jab. And now that we have been around Bridget, she is even quicker witted than Anthony! Watching them grow together has been a treat because they feed off of each other so well. They compliment each other well, and work together to lift each other up! It’s been fun to watch them grow for the past few years, and will even be more fun for the future.
