Brigid's favorite hiking spot in San Diego. The trail runs right along the coast, providing beach access at one point. This can be done with kids! The Ambuul family hikes Torrey Pines every year on New Years' Day.
Brigid's staple High School Haunt. Excellent Gelato, even excellenter Mozarella Grilled Cheese with Pesto.
Although this isn't the Mission that the couple is getting married at, it's another absolutely stunning historical church! The bride's parents were married here, and it's definitely worth a look around. It ain't called the King of the Missions for nothing.
Brigid loves this place (do you notice a pattern here?). It's a reconstructed Old California town square full of totally unique shops and stops. Touristy, but in a good way. There's a fun pipe shop there (Racine and Laramie), for those of you who are tobacco-minded. And a candy shop (Cousin's) with some of the best fudge the bride has ever tasted, for those of you who are sugar-minded.
Not overrated. Just do it.
Honestly, my mom said to add this one, so I have no idea what the deal is with it. But there's wine in the title, so I'm sure it's great!
