The Welk is a great place to stay if you're traveling with a family. It's part timeshare, part hotel. You can book via the website. I know that they usually will give you a deal (free zoo tickets and a cheaper nightly rate) if you sit through their two-hour presentation about investing in their timeshare. There are fun pools and lots of gathering places for big groups. This is also the closest spot to the reception and not too far from town.
