Brigid and Mitchell’s story began in high school, where they met in woodshop class. They became fast friends, spending so much time together that on the Fourth of July in 2014, a friend finally asked, “Well, are you guys dating or what?!” Mitchell casually replied, “Yeah, I guess”—and just like that, it was official.

Since then, they’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure (plus two very spoiled dogs, Oakley and Tallulah). After years of waiting—some more patiently than others—Mitchell proposed on November 14, 2024, at the very same place where he made things official all those years ago. Now, they’re counting down to November 15, 2025, when they’ll finally say “I do.”

Looking back at where they started, it’s hard to believe how far they’ve come. From teenage friends to life partners, every step has brought them closer to this moment. As one of their favorite songs puts it, "Looks like we made it. Look how far we’ve come, my baby." Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their love story with the family and friends who have been there every step of the way!
