What date should I RSVP by?
RSVPs will be sent out in late spring 2025. RSVP's will be due July 27th, 2025.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. As there is a short walk from the parking lot to the ceremony site, we highly encourage guests to arrive before 3:45pm.
Where should I park at Maine Camp?
Parking will be designated by signs and we will have someone out there directing traffic. There are two lots for guests to park in.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Portions of the wedding will be outside to appreciate the beautiful scenery of pine forest and on-site lake. As late August weather is unpredictable, we recommend bringing layers and bug spray.
Is there a dress code?
Come get fancy with us! Your snazziest suit and tie, cocktail dress, or dressy jumpsuit is perfect for our wedding. However, since there will be lawn games available for guests after the ceremony, plan to bring an extra pair of shoes if you plan to participate in games.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We are delighted to offer a variety of dishes prepared by a caterer who specializes in wood-fired cuisine. During the cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a selection of hors d'oeuvres. For the sit-down dinner, we will serve a diverse menu including fresh salads and gourmet pizzas. Make sure to save room for the mouthwatering dessert bar!
Will alcohol be served at the reception?
Yes, alcohol will be available via a mobile bar service throughout the evening. Guests may be required to show photo ID when ordering, so please keep your ID available.
What sleeping accommodations have been arranged for guests?
Chris and Britt have booked the camp property from Saturday (8/30) into Monday(9/1). Guests will have the ability to reserve a bed in the group cabins at no cost. Britt and Chris will work to ensure any guests staying in cabins are happy with their sleeping arrangement and are provided with additional details.
What are the cabins like?
All cabins come with twin-sized bunk beds and private bathrooms and showers. Cabins also include full-sized mirrors, sinks, and outlets. Chris and Britt will work to ensure cohesiveness and comfort in the makeup of the cabins. For more information on the cabins, please go to the "Cabins" page on the wedding site.
What if a cabin isn't for me?
We recognize that not everyone loves nature as much as Chris and Britt. If cabin life isn't for you, we recommend reserving rooms well in advance at one of the following properties: Mid-Way Lodging(10 minutes away), Cornish Inn(13 minutes away), the Perkins House(13 minutes away), Snowvillage Inn(27 minutes away), and many more!
When can I move into my cabin?
Cabins will be available at 6:30pm Saturday 8/30 through 10:00am Monday 9/1.
Will there be transportation provided to anyone staying outside of the camp?
As Chris and Britt have booked out the whole camp for guests for the weekend, no transportation will be provided. However, if you are in need of transportation to your outside lodging, we recommend scheduling uber/lyft rides ahead of time to ensure ride availability in the area.
Are kids allowed at the wedding?
Regretfully, we cannot accommodate children during our special day. Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We kindly request that no photos be taken during the ceremony, allowing everyone to be fully present in the moment. However, we encourage you to capture and share memories during the cocktail hour and reception. Please make sure to share your photos with the Bride & Groom using the following QR codes located throughout the wedding. If you chose to post any to social media, make sure to use our wedding tag: #SaellingintoDionne
