Elizabeth and Brittany originally had a mutual friend but neither realized it until years later when they met through an online dating website. After hanging out that first day, then the whole rest of the first week, then the rest of the first month, it was quite clear that these two couldn't get enough of each other! They haven't slowed down since :)

Thanks to Elizabeth's determined patience along with her giving nature and Brittany's emotional strength, logic and loyalty, the two learned just how perfectly they fit together.

Since Elizabeth discovered how to understand Brittany from the start, she knew Brittany would have to be the one to make most of the first steps in their relationship. Brittany asked her to be her girlfriend first and told her she loved her first, so it only made since for Brittany to be the one to propose.

On July 30th, 2016, Brittany took Elizabeth on an all day excursion visiting all of their favorite places or spots that held the most significance for them. Places ranged from the spot they first met to their favorite dance clubs to their favorite restaurants. Brittany had prefaced the day of adventure by telling Elizabeth that they were celebrating their future due to Elizabeth's new job. She had no idea what Brittany was really planning. Elizabeth was speechless when Brittany proposed at the end of the night! Of course, she said YES!
