Sarah and I met freshman year at Michigan State in Math 124. We bonded over our love of Lululemon leggings and have been best friends ever since. Brittany and Megan go way-back and have been best friends since they were babies. Growing up together they spent much of their time pretending to be Mary-Kate and Ashley. Megan is like a sister to Brittany and her best friend.

Brooke and Britt grew up together as next-door neighbors. They spent years together learning to play golf and tennis. Brooke is a kind and genuine friend for life. Catch her gardening or putzing around downtown Northville.

Christa and Britt met by fate during sorority recruitment at Michigan State their sophomore year. While they didn't join the same sorority, they became the closest friends and their time together at Planet Fitness and Ricks. Life's about balance right?! Cara and Brittany met on study abroad in London during their time at MSU. They quickly became friends bonding over Taylor Swift and their love of adventure. You can catch Cara on TV during MSU Basketball games!

Shelby and Brittany were both in Alpha Chi Omega at Michigan State. They were paired up as big (Brittany) and little (Shelby) sisters to guide each other through their AXO journey. Shelby and her husband Trevor are responsible for introducing Tyler and Brittany in Chicago! You can catch Shelby at a Studio Three workout class in Chicago or in California for a weekend trip.

Claire and Brittany met in Chicago in 2019 through their beach volleyball team. They hit it off immediately and have enjoyed many Chicago summer boat days, brunches, and sporting events together. You can catch Claire watching the Bachelorette or playing volleyball on the beach.

Nikki is not only Tyler's sister, but a great friend. They met during COVID and quickly became close. They bond over their DINK (Dual Income No Kids) lifestyle, and enjoy summers together at Big Star Lake. You can catch Nikki with her husband and their dog, Sunday, in downtown Holland Michigan.

Steven has been the brother of the groom for quite some time. They grew much closer in high school when Steven went from teammate to coach on their lacrosse team. They were roommates for a semester at Grand Valley where they built bunk beds out of 2X4s, and watched gossip girl before bed.

Aaron and Tyler have been the best of friends since they were roommates freshman year at MSU. Rumor has it that Tyler and Britt moved out to Denver just to be closer to Aaron (& Maddy/Myla). Aaron is a fantastic skier, great golfer, and all around beauty.

Chaz is Tyler's brother in law and the family’s resident historian. Tyler and Nicole were unsuccessful in convincing Chaz to transfer to MSU but he still joined for most home games. Chaz is typically the only one that Tyler can convince to make the turn during rounds of golf at the cottage and for that we thank him.

Nick and Tyler were in the same start class at Grant Thornton and ended up being roommates while living in Chicago. They initially hit it off when on their first trip for work, Tyler forgot deodorant and Nick forgot toothpaste so they would swap every morning.

Kyle and Tyler were in the same fraternity at MSU. They spent more time playing NHL '14 than studying, but Kyle still 4.0'd every class. Kyle lives in Houston now, but will buy a plane ticket at a moment's notice for an impromptu weekend trip whenever you ask.

Alec and Tyler were in the same fraternity at MSU and liked to confuse everyone by introducing themselves as eachother, swapping places in composite photos, and adopting the exact same mannerisms. If you need Alec, he will be tearing up the dance floor all night.

Dan and Tyler's friendship goes way back to sometime in the second grade (with a small break after Tyler accidentally burst Dan's eardrum with a sharpened chop stick in Mr. Howell's 3rd grade class). Dan is a Cubs & Bears fan, which everyone holds against him, but apart from that, he has no flaws.

Jon and Tyler played high school lacrosse together where Jon would sometimes take a break from scoring 12 goals a game to let Tyler get a few. If you see Jon looking stressed during the wedding, he isn't upset, but probably just sweating out a college football bet.

Our sweet nieces are the children of Rachel (Tyler’s sister) and Austin Headley. These three gals love all things “Bluey” and adventuring and exploring nature.

Our goofy nephew is the son of Steve (Tyler’s brother) and Kelli Steggerda. He loves riding tractors and playing outside with his Uncle Ty.
