Our story began about 9 years ago at UW-Stout where we met as members of the Cross-Country team. In the beginning, our interactions were casual, mostly connecting through mutual friends. Little did we know that these small moments would lay the foundation for something more.

As time unfolded, our paths crossed more frequently. Conversations deepened, laughter echoed, and a genuine connection emerged. We evolved from acquaintances to friends, sharing stories, dreams, and the simple joys of life. Eventually, someone a bit later than the other… we realized that our feelings had grown beyond friendship. We began officially dating in January of 2019.

A year later we moved into our first apartment together in Waukesha, WI and adopted our first boy, Murphy Beans. A few months later we adopted our second, Klaus. In May of 2022, we reached a major milestone by purchasing our first home, solidifying our commitment, and transforming our shared living space into a place truly our own. We cherished the simple pleasures of everyday life spent together—cooking meals in our cozy kitchen, cuddling up on the couch with our boys, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

In April of 2023 we took a mini vacation to Blue Ridge Georgia where David booked a stunning A-frame cabin overlooking the forest. The trip was filled with peaceful moments and new memories. During the trip we hiked to the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge and took a rest on the bank overlooking the river. There David got down on one knee and proposed! The rest of the trip was filled with excitement and reflection on all we’ve done together and what our future holds.
