We met at our second home in our natural state - at the gym, sweaty, in workout clothes, and doing things we love-hate. After months of staring at each other from afar, we started to spend time together with the help of friends (Thanks Liz! =]).

After months of Brittany's residency interviews, we finally went on a date during which we didn't order food for at least an hour because we were too busy talking.

We easily and naturally fell in love, exhibited by us both blurting out "I love you" accidentally on the same day. :)

After Brittany moved to Philadelphia for residency, we grew stronger through 9 months of long-distance (although we both admittedly suck at phone calls) until Sam moved to Philly in March 2019 to reunite Team BS.

We spent 5 years in Philadelphia building our lives and love in the midst of a busy residency schedule, the COVID pandemic, and civil unrest.

Back to our natural state, we got engaged in a gym - sweaty and surrounded by friends, just a few weeks before our move to LA for Brittany's fellowship.

After a fun but long cross-country travel, we made it to LA and started our lives as Californians (-ish)!

We visited Mammoth Lakes, CA and knew pretty quickly this was the best spot for us to tie the knot...and finally took some fancy engagement pictures!
