Most routes involve at least one connection—typically flying into St. Maarten (SXM), San Juan (SJU), or St. Thomas (STT), then taking a short 15-min island hop flight to Gustaf III Airport (SBH). The final approach into St. Barth's is famously scenic, with views over turquoise water and green hills.

If enough of us are flying to St. Barth’s, we can explore a private flight/charter—which is often more cost-effective for a group—so we can travel together, avoid extra layovers, and eliminate the fuss that comes with ferrying. Keep in mind: the St. Barts airport is small with one of the shortest runways in the world meaning it can only accommodate smaller planes with capacities around 12-20 passengers. Commercial jets require a longer runway and cannot land on St Barths.
