It all started on Facebook. No,&nbsp;I didn’t meet her online, but I&nbsp;had&nbsp;met her friends well before I met her. Thanks to a wonderful human&nbsp;being by the name of&nbsp;Brian Lockhart&nbsp;who&nbsp;had responded to my&nbsp;Facebook post&nbsp;and out of the kindness&nbsp;of his heart,&nbsp;offered me a place to stay so I could attend&nbsp;Lights All Night music&nbsp;festival in Dallas, one&nbsp;that&nbsp;Brittney&nbsp;had&nbsp;been attending&nbsp;over the past&nbsp;few years.&nbsp;This year&nbsp;she didn't attend.&nbsp;At that time, I didn’t know her,&nbsp;and it would be quite&nbsp;some time before we would meet&nbsp;but this invisible string was connected to us. It wasn’t until 4 years later,&nbsp;on my longest cross-country trip of my RV tenure,&nbsp;starting in Key West, FL all the way to Cape Flattery, WA, then&nbsp;across the entire northern half of the country&nbsp;destined&nbsp;for&nbsp;Maine, by way of Rothbury, MI. I was a last-minute attendee on weekend 1 of Electric Forest, on June 20, 2018. I knew those friends from Lights All Night were&nbsp;going to be there&nbsp;too, so&nbsp;I&nbsp;reached out to meet up with them in&nbsp;their group camp&nbsp;site. This would be the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time I would set my eyes on&nbsp;her. With all her swagger, her cool walk, her sexy accent, her dance moves. I had to know more about this girl. We had our first date when she asked, “does anyone want to go see Bishop Briggs with me?” No one spoke up. I knew Bishop Briggs; I loved her music. I said, “I do.” We began walking to the Jubilee stage deep in the forest, where we first held hands on the way to the set. I saw the way she danced up close and personal and&nbsp;I&nbsp;was hooked. I fell in love right then&nbsp;and&nbsp;there with the woman I&nbsp;will eventually marry. 5 years later, we began to live together in Salt Lake City after COVID gave her the freedom to move from Dallas and work from home full time. One fateful drive in the RV, from Red Rocks to Las Vegas for EDC changed our lives. I saw a sign and said, “We should move to Salt Lake City,” she said “Sure, why not.” I moved this Dallas girl to the north, from a place where it snows a dusting maybe once or twice a year, to a place that “doesn’t snow that much”, only 50” a year. That wasn’t&nbsp;a lot&nbsp;of snow&nbsp;for&nbsp;northern&nbsp;boy from just outside of Boston, where 50" could fall in one storm. Living together brought us closer day by day. I finally had my answer&nbsp;to the question "is she the&nbsp;one?” This was, in fact, the girl I was going to marry. I knew that when I met her, but I was 100%&nbsp;sure now. Now&nbsp;I had to find&nbsp;the right time&nbsp;and place&nbsp;to pop the question. Electric Forest on our 5-year anniversary?&nbsp;No....&nbsp;&nbsp;I wanted it to be even more special than where&nbsp;we met and fell in love. The birthplace of our love. Our home.Taylor Swift concert in Seattle? No… that wasn’t it either&nbsp;even though we are both SWIFTies I&nbsp;had my answer. A transcontinental wedding. Love was in the air in the Middle East. I let the bride and groom know. I didn’t tell many other people&nbsp;about my plan. Thank you, Anoop and Melek, for allowing me to pass on the torch&nbsp;of love lit&nbsp;in Peru. “We&nbsp;were&nbsp;going to be engaged&nbsp;when we arrive in&nbsp;Istanbul for your wedding!!!” They were so happy to hear those words. Their love is inspirational. We set out for a few days in Cappadocia, Türkiye, the most picturesque, Instagrammable location in the whole country.&nbsp;I'm thinking, she knows, doesn’t she? I had to throw her off the trail. Sunday rolls around, we had a big excursion planned the next day, she has to know. I told her “Hey babe, I booked us a professional photographer to take photos of us in this beautiful place Wednesday morning.” That has to throw her off. The next day we woke up before dawn to a car waiting for us to take us to our chariot for the morning sunrise. A breathtaking view awaited us in our semi-private hot air balloon basket. A hot air balloon ride was the perfect place to get engaged, if everything works out, this is where it will happen. I spent&nbsp;the&nbsp;entire ride with one&nbsp;hand in my pocket covering the ring box, so she didn’t see the big hump in my pants. She had no idea what was about to happen. We landed, the other couple got out of the balloon, I got out, I was finally a little nervous, but we landed in the perfect spot, with the famous Cappadocia&nbsp;hot air balloons as our backdrop, I handed my phone to the gentleman of the other couple and asked him to take a video quietly. “You want me to take a video?” he exclaimed. “Yes, a video” Now’s the time. I walked her back along scraggly weeds. She was puzzled. We posed. I stepped back, got down on one knee and asked, “Brittney Nicole Foster, will you marry me?” She said YES!!!! Our love story is my favorite. I will tell it to anyone with ears for the rest of my life. The story has many chapters already, but we are writing new chapters everyday. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.&nbsp;

Onsite accommodations for immediate family, the wedding party and a few friends; we will all be staying onsite at the ranch for the weekend. We will be organizing room assignments for the cabins, 2 Victorian homes and the bunk house and will be reaching out to you for the cost associated with your room once they have been assigned. This will happen after we have received your RSVP. Anyone not staying onsite should look for local accommodations in Calistoga, a 10 minute drive to the venue. There are a couple dozen small Inns in the area. We recommend Bothe-Napa Valley State Park for RV Camping.
