Brock and Ashlynn met and started dating in 2017. Brock was a sophomore and Ashlynn was a freshman at Lubbock Cooper High School. They met through one of Ashlynn's friends who had a Spanish class with Brock, and from there it all took off! They hung out for the first time in November of 2017, then quickly turned around to have their first date that sealed the dating title on December 2nd, 2017. From there, they experienced all of high school together and really did everything together. You could catch them together at every homecoming or prom, or see them in the stands of every football and soccer game supporting each other. After high school, they started their first year of long distance when Brock went off to Abilene to play football and attend Abilene Christian University. They pretty much made the drive every other week to see each other until Ashlynn went off to ACU the very next year. And who would have guessed, they again did everything together in Abilene. From watching Brock play football, Bean dates, and dorm curfews, they always found something to do in the small college town. Being in the same town again lasted just about one year and then long distance began again when Brock transferred back home to attend Texas Tech University. During this year of life and long distance, Brock knew that the big question to ask Ashlynn to marry him would come soon. In August of 2022, Brock took Ashlynn to a jeweler in Lubbock to go look at rings and from there, Brock started planning the proposal with Ashlynn's roommates. Then the day came where they perfectly executed the surprise proposal that was long awaited! February 25th, 2023 Brock proposed to Ashlynn and without a doubt she said yes! Later that year Ashlynn also transferred back to Lubbock to attend TTU, and from there they got to spend the rest of their engagement together in Lubbock. Brock and Ashlynn are so excited to get to experience even more life and blessings together as the wedding day comes. This day has been in the making for a while now, and it has been a long time coming!
