Our story started with the help of a mutual friend, Kourtney. Eric and I both went to Texas A&M, and while we have many mutual friends, we did not know each other in college. After college, I moved to Dallas for my job and Eric moved to Grapevine for his job. Kourtney reached out to Eric one night while she was intoxicated and had the bright idea to tell Eric her best friend was also in Dallas. Kourtney and Eric planned this out for a while before I knew, and came up with a plan for the girls to go out in Dallas and "run" into Eric. However, Kourtney and the girls decided to go wedding dress shopping the weekend of this "plan" and she finally told me she had given my number to a friend of hers. Since the original plan didn't work, Eric took matters into his own hands and reached out to me on his own. He set up our first date 3 days later and we have been together ever since! We are very thankful to have such great friends in our lives that knew we would be a great fit!
