Our Wedding

Our story goes back to late November or early December 2022 when we matched on Facebook dating. For those of you who are wondering, David is the one that started the conversation. His first sentence was "Hello beautiful, how are you?". After about three days of constant talking through the dating app and snapchats. We decided that we would delete the app and take things into the real world and exchange numbers. Our connection grew the more we discussed life and what we wanted for our children. At that time, Ezra was 4, Clay&nbsp;2, and Easton 1. Eventually, after weeks of talking on the phone and texting, we decided to go on our first date, December 27th, 2022. David had shown up to my house bright and early. Early enough that Easton and I were still eating cereal in our pjs. He had a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers in his hand and a shy smile. I ran around quickly, trying to get ready and apologizing constantly. After several outfit changes and debates on what vehicle to take or if we should drive separately, we decided to take David's truck, and we drove out to the mall of GA. Why the mall? Well.1. It was a public place2. Easton had to tag along since his school was closed.3. Food court4. Child's playgroundAs our date was coming to a close, Easton decided that he should throw up in the middle of the mall and have a mild meltdown. I thought David was a goner for sure by the time he dropped us off. As he was leaving, we shared our last first kiss. Fast forward to January 22, 2023. David and I got ready to go out on our 4th date.&nbsp;We ended up at this HORRIBLE Italian restaurant in Loganville 0/10 would not recommend. After sitting through an awful dinner full of awkward silence and the lingering stench of garlic we decided to go through a Steak N Shake drive thru and both got milkshakes. Afterwards we made our way into the Target parking lot and after he parked he turned to me and asked me if we could make it official and I said yes. Now let us jump forward to September of 2023. We were getting ready for our trip to Florida. We were going to Disney to celebrate Easton's 2nd and my 30th birthday. David had been teasing me about popping the question before the end of the year and I knew that Disney would be the perfect opportunity if he had the courage to ask in front of a crowd of people. Well the days went by and the question was never popped at Disney. Instead he waited until September 22nd when we were on a doubled date with my best and her future husband. We were talking a walk around Lake Mirror as we were waiting for our dinner reservation at Cattle Company Steakhouse. As we were walking David got real quiet like not even breathing anymore quiet and his palms began to get a little sweaty that he stopped in his tracks and got down on one knee. I think my brain stopped working because all I could do is laugh. Eventually my brain started working and I was able to laugh out the word yes as he slid a beautiful tear shaped diamond ring onto my finger.

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is 13.3 miles from our venue and 12.2 miles from the hotel blocks. About a 20 minute drive to either. The hotel blocks are approximately 13 miles from The venue and about a 20 minute drive on State Road 200. Public beach access via Seaside Park is approximately 14 miles and about a 30 minute drive from the hotel blocks.
