We suggest you book a room using hotels.com, bookings.com, or another hotel website. They offer less expensive prices than what the hotel room block would offer. We suggest booking a hotel room as soon as possible. There is a popular concert in town that weekend and many accommodations are already booked. Also, Dresden is a popular tourist destination and summer is a busy season. The hotels we have listed are all in Altstadt- a great location with many things in walking distance to explore. Also, we will pick up our out of country guests in the square nearby (Neumarkt) for the wedding. If you do not prefer one of the hotels listed feel free to look for others in the Altstadt area.
Flughafen Dresden International (DRS), Airport Terminal, Dresden, Deutschland
Fly into the Dresden International airport (DRS) then take a taxi to the hotel you choose. Make sure the taxi driver accepts credit cards. Many taxi drivers ask for only cash. The taxi ride to Altstadt should take around 20 minutes.
A normal flight to Dresden costs around $1,250 (good price) to $1,500 (normal price). You can sometimes find cheaper flights at random or by flying during the week (especially Tuesdays and Wednesday).
Also, sometimes you can find cheaper flights that fly into Prague. Prague is a little less than a two hour train ride away from Dresden if you choose this route.

This hotel is a little more than the ones listed above. All the hotels are in a good location and close to each other but this one overlooks the main square in Altstadt called Neumarkt.
We will provide transportation for out of the country guests starting in the Neumarkt for the night of the wedding.
