Our Wedding

It all started in 2020 when we meet. Our first date was a night of BBQ at Moe’s in downtown Huntsville, followed by bar hopping, endless conversation, and bonding over our mutual love of live rock music. From that night on, things just clicked. Our first trip together to Nashville in October only confirmed it, and by April 2021, we found ourselves in Seattle, Washington. That trip made one thing clear—this was something real. I can definitely say we fell in love in the mountains. A year passed, and in April 2022, we took the next big step and moved in together. Then, in January, we made our biggest decision yet—welcoming our sweet (and very large) pup, Otto, into our lives. Poor Sallie was not warned or prepared. Over the years, we’ve shared so many adventures—Greta Van Fleet concerts in 2021 and 2023, baseball games that turned Brooke into a full-fledged Braves fan (thanks to Sam), and Renaissance fairs that Sam now loves (thanks to Brooke). In 2022, we also took on a new challenge: renovating our home. Then came May 2024—a night Brooke thought was just a special date night. Little did she know, Sam had been secretly hiding an engagement ring for six months, waiting for the perfect moment. As fate would have it, we were last-minute fostering two puppies that week, making life extra chaotic—so much so that Brooke completely missed all the signs. When the moment finally came, she was totally surprised! And in December, after months of hard work (and a few too many trips to the hardware store and the ER), we reaped the rewards and bought our dream home. The final relationship test? Moving. This is where we’ll build our life together and our future family. From football, baseball, and soccer games to Sam playing on local teams with Brooke cheering on the sidelines, we truly do it all together. And now, we can’t wait for our next and greatest adventure—saying “I do”!

We couldn’t imagine anyone better to guide us into this next chapter of our lives. And yes lady's he is single.

Her kindness and strength have shaped him into the incredible man he is today.
