Brooke and Sean first met on Valentines Day 2014. While Brooke was socially awkward and had no idea what to say to this handsome stranger with amazing facial hair, Sean was able to charm her with his wit and swept her right off her feet! After that weekend they were inseperable for the rest of their college careers. Brooke went to as many rugby games and rugby parties as she could, and Sean dressed up and attended all of the best Kappa Kappa Gamma social events. When Brooke graduated in December 2015, they knew it would be hard to be away from each other for the first time since they met. When Brooke began working at Walt Disney World for her internship they always made sure to have time for each other. Whether it was phone calls, or visits to Statesboro/ Orlando, their love only grew stronger. As Brooke neared the end of her internship, they began a whole new experience in their relationship. Sean Graduated from Georgia Southern University in May 2017, and in a few sort months was offered a job with Jacob's Engineering IN MICHIGAN. The long distance began all over again, but by this point Brooke and Sean were pros! SO it all began again with the plane rides back and forth from Atlanta to Detroit. The countdown for Brooke's big move had begun! During the week of Thanksgiving 2016, while Sean was in Orlando with the Holsworth family, Sean took Brooke straight into a jewlery store and together they found the most beautiful ring. Mrs. Holsworth cried in the background saying how happy she was to be able to witness it all happen. While Sean may have had the ring, there was still a big question waiting to be asked. Of course in Sean fashion he wanted to keep Brooke on her toes!

So the months went by and in early December, Sean and Brooke took a relationship leap and together adoped an adorable 5 week old Rotwhiller/Hound mix puppy who they named Tesla, after sean's favorite inventor!

When it came time for New Years Eve 2016, Brooke was suprised and excited when Sean finally popped The Big Question! While they were getting ready for a night out on the town with some friends from Geoirga Southern University, Sean asked Brooke to marry him and of course she immedietly said yes and started to cry like a baby. She asked "is this real?!?!" probably a million times.

During Brooke's next trip to Michigan they found their perfect home in Detroit and signed their lease!

A little over a month after their engagement, Brooke packed up everything she owned in the biggest U-hal truck you have ever seen, and settled in for the long haul! While it took them over 10 hours to make it, it was all worth it to start their new chapter of their lives together.

And here they are today, living in Detroit, Michigan together and exploring as much of their new Home state as time and money allows them!
