Our Wedding

Hi everyone! Our story was written by myself, Brooke, with my fiancé, Bobby, by my side. We wanted to share our happily ever after story with those that mean so much to us so thank you for taking the time to read our entire timeline. It is quite comical learning truly how many times we came into each other’s lives and didn’t take any steps forward, although we later confessed, we wanted to. We began in 5th/6th grade – I was at a friend’s house from little league, while Bobby and his twin brother, Jacob, were also there with her little brother. We had never met up to this point previously, but immediately upon meeting, I remember how desperately I wanted to impress him. The rest of the day was spent playing yard games. I, obviously, was just a little better at whiffle ball than Bobby, so we spent the rest of the time competing which still checks out to this day as we are unable to even get through a game of SORRY. After spending that day together, we began to call each other for hours at a time until we decided to “date” as I was going into 7th grade, while Bobby was a year behind me. We spent that time going on long walks (he should’ve known he was doomed with the hiking) and I ended up being his first kiss. I ended things at that time because I thought he was too quiet for me (oops).As the years passed, we never stopped our intermittent discussions. We would go a few months, talk on the phone, see each other somewhere, and continue where we left off. Throughout high school – we always found ourselves giving each other certain looks in the hallway and looking forward to our next birthday (since we share a birthday) so that we could have an excuse just to talk to one another. After I graduated – I ended up working at the Bus Garage in Smethport. Upon pulling up for the first day, who do I run into? Bobby. We then got stuck being work partners. After the endless summer of reconnecting, we parted again. I went on to St. Bonaventure and Bobby had his senior year left. We didn’t talk that entire year. Bobby then graduated in which at his high school graduation, I was there and rushed to get Bobby to take a picture with me. Later that summer –we found each other frequently hanging out with other close friends, including Gavin. Then, again, timing was not in our favor – I went back to school and Bobby started his job at Cutco.Later that year – Bobby frequently kept asking to take me on dates and to come visit me at Bonas…. but I never agreed to it. We kept up with each other every few months, on holidays, and on birthdays – but never anything more. We figured we had just developed this friendship of knowing that we were there for each other and we didn’t quite ever realize the potential that we could ever have with one another. In PT school, Bobby ended up calling me one night and telling me how much he loved me over the years. He did not expect anything at the time other than just wanting me to know his true feelings. We then finally found ourselves together again realizing we both were meant for one another.I moved home from PT school to begin my clinical and Bobby was working 3rd shift as a mechanic at Cutco. We ended up realizing that life continued to bring us back together in the most bizarre ways and we figured it was God’s plan for us to finally be together. We then went on our first official date at Sprague’s and OFFICIALLY started dating October 2nd, 2022 to find ourselves a year of many intentional conversations, lots of road trips, a vacation, and then finally saying ‘yes’ to the MOST romantic proposal on top of Mt. Marcy on September 30th, 2023, a year later. We now have the sweetest dog, Max and just bought our first home in Olean, NY. We cannot be happier to now share God’s path for us by beginning our life together with all of you – the closest and most dearest people in our lives! Ryan has been the bestest friend and brother that I could have ever asked for throughout my entire life. He has always been next to my side, sharing all of life's experiences since we met at our babysitters when we were 4. From spending most holidays together to sharing a graduation party, we continue to be inseparable. Ryan has inspired me to be the best version of myself for all of these years and continues to do so. Ryan is so incredibly selfless, so hard working, and will always bring the BEST energy. I could not be more grateful to have him stand by my side to share my most special day with me. Jacob, my twin brother, is my best friend (even though I hate to admit it). We have gone through every stage of life together. No one truly understands what it is like to have a best friend until you have a twin brother. The amount of inside jokes, dumb fights, and adventures we have had will always be worth it. I am grateful to know that someone like Jacob will always have my back and that we can share every single one of life's moments together. Jacob is so hard working, kind, and the best brother I could ever ask for. I am so excited to have him stand beside me on my most important day. Love you, Jake!

On the very first day we moved into together at St. Bonnies, I knew Bitty was my lady. We immediately formed a friendship that would last a lifetime. Being my roommate, catch partner for every practice/game, and my forever best friend, there was never a dull moment with her. All of our adventures, heart to hearts, and watching each other grow over the past 8 years is something that I will always cherish. Bitty is so driven, beautiful, and always wants the best for others! I would not want anyone else to also stand by my side. Cannot wait for a lifetime of memories and excitement with you, Bit. Gavin and I have been best friends since Kindergarten. Gav and I have millions of fun memories together and some crazy stories. Gavin has always had my best interest in mind and has always supported me with any decision I've ever made. Gavin has been there for me, lied for me, and was always right there if I needed something. Gavin makes me laugh like no other person and always brings the goofiest energy. I am so grateful he is also going to stand beside me as I can't imagine my life without him in it. Love you man!

Meagan and I started our friendship in early high school, playing sports together, and goofing off constantly. Meg was my pepper partner, catch partner, and the real one. Meg has always been one of those best friends that I could go without talking to, but just knowing the simple fact that I could call meagan with the most ridiculous thing, and she would support me. She has always been the gal to justify feelings, reassure me that everything is okay, and is the life of the party. She makes me laugh until I cry like no other person. So very thankful for our friendship Meg and wouldn't want to dance it up with anyone else. I love you so much!!

Tristyn has been one of my best friends for most of my life. Tristyn is always present and he is the greatest helping hand. He is that friend that is always cracking a joke, but yet he cares so much about everyone in his life. He has the kindest heart and has always wanted the very best for me. Tristyn is always down for a trip and is always so much fun.  He is forever going to be another brother of mine. I couldn't imagine him not standing with me for this big day. Love you Tristyn.. even though you covered up our matching tattoo!

Brittany and I began our friendship in 16U and that was enough to realize we would be lifelong best friends. Brittany was always a year ahead of me, but we found each other at every stage of life. From playing softball at Bonas to being roomies at Slippery Rock, she has always been one of the most near and dear friends to me. She is the BEST golf partner, is always down for a fun excursion, and is an inspiration to my overall wellness. She is the type of person I can always count on. I am so thankful God gave me such an accountable friend like her. I love you endlessly, Brittany! 

Brittany Fair

Ethan and I began our friendship in elementary school. We spent most of our time fishing, hunting, and playing basketball together. Ethan is a real friend and has been someone that cherishes quality time over anything. Ethan is always present at as many events as he can be at and he is always showing support. Ethan and Tristyn are a part of my family and at almost every family function. I can't imagine my life without Ethan and I can't wait for a million more memories throughout our lives biggest milestones! Love you, man!

Rose slid into my dm's within the first couple weeks of PT school and we never looked back. We quickly became lab partners, study buddies, and best friends. Rose holds such genuine and selfless qualities that push me to become a better person everyday. She always comes through with the best advice and always pushes me to let loose and have a good time. Rose is the friend that will always put in so much effort and will never allow you to be down. Cheers to you, Rosie.. I love you more than you'll ever know!

Rosalyn Drahnak

Collin and I became friends in elementary school and grew up together. Collin was my outdoorsman friend as we would always go out the first day of fishing together. Collin is the type of person to be so relaxed and to also have the most meaningful conversation. Collin has always been very wise and filled with the best advice. I had the honor to stand with him on his big day a couple of years ago and I couldn't imagine not having him with me on mine. Even though we don't talk everyday, he is always in my corner. Love you, Collin!

I met Matty in my first year of PT school and since then, we had an instant connection. Our type 1 personalities jived immediately. Although he is a major type 1, he was always down to be one of the most sporatic and authentic people I have met. One thing I love about him is that he is so caring, so lovable, and will always be ready for the next tattoo. We have formed a lifelong bond together in which I would not even begin to fathom not having him by my side on this day. He is also the GREATEST dancer and was featured on Dance Moms! Matthew Kohlmann

Nelsonic and I have been friends since early high school. We became super close when we played basketball together and then he became a huge part of our friend group. Nelson and I spent a lot of our time on the golf course. Nelson is super competitive, funny, and always had my back! He is an awesome cornhole partner and is another friend that enjoys quality time with the boys. We had made so many memories together and I cannot wait to make even more with him. Excited to have him as a huge part of this day. Love you, Nelsonic! 

Bryce Nelson

Emma and I first met 8 years ago at Bonas and our friendship grew tremendously ever since. Emma has been nothing but supportive in my life. She is always cheering me on from afar, especially because we rarely see other. Emma is the most goal oriented person I know. Special Agent Borysevicz always has my back, strives to be the best she can be, and is an unsung hero.  She is my travel buddy and hitch hiking bestie. She is a person I forever want to surround myself with and I'm so grateful God made us friends. Love you always, Em!

Rylee and I met while also playing softball at Bonas. She came to Bonas halfway through freshmen year, and we never looked back. We have so many inside jokes and hilarious memories that we continue to laugh about to this day. Between Charleston, Maine, and Disney as well as everywhere we have been for softball - there was never a forgotten moment. I am so thankful to have you as a friend and someone I can always goof off with. I am so proud to call you my friend and so excited to forever share chaos with you. I love you like Spongebob loves Patrick! 

Rylee Hehir

Emma and I have been dear friends since early elementary school. Our pajama parties, matching blues brother halloween costumes, and dance parties in my living room are memories I will always hold tight. We have both grown to have such an intentional friendship and she pushes me into a better version of myself. Although she is across the country - that doesn't stop us from seeing each other every chance we get when she comes home. Emma is so incredibly kind and passionate with the best laugh. She is also the best skier I know! Love you so dearly, Memes.
