Back in 2022, while Riley and Brooklyn were still in college, they had very similar lives, but also vastly different. They kept getting presented with the opportunity to potentially meet each other in person by chance, but without even realizing it. This is because they had a mutual friend group, but neither of them knew this until after they started dating.

Since the chance of meeting in person never fully presented itself at the time, they both decided to join dating apps. This was meant to be as a joke with friends, and not necessarily because of looking for anything serious at that point. However, they both knew that joke was to be short lived when they both swiped right and started texting back and forth.

From there, they went on many dates, and started making long-lasting memories together. They eventually hung out with their mutual friend group, and connected the dots as to how they could've met by chance at some point. It was also interesting to think about if they would be where they are today if that were the case.

After a few months of the "talking" stage, Riley asked Brooklyn to be his girlfriend under a star-lit night sky on a country road. Since then, stargazing has always been an important part of their relationship.

Throughout their dating era, they have gone on many adventures together, and have shared quite a few "firsts". However, even today, those adventures and "firsts" haven't stopped, nor will they ever.
