Wedding Party

Bridal Party

Krislyn Carolino
Krislyn Carolino - Maid of Honor
We first met in PT school. I knew we'd be best friends when I met her. She always made me laugh with a snarky remark she'd make in class, yet she would be considered one of the "quiet ones", this indeed, is not true. We talk with each other every Thursday and pour our hearts out to each other. She makes my weeks easier to bear and I don't know what I'd do without her.
Katie Escalera
Katie Escalera - Bridesmaid
Katie and I met when she began dating the best man. She very quickly became someone special. We bonded over our love for movies, Disney, wine, and games. I treasure all those late nights we had talking and how it has strengthened our relationship. With new changes on the horizon, I can't wait to see how our friendship will grow.
Tatiana Ratavosian
Tatiana Ratavosian - Bridesmaid
Tatiana, my work wife, we met/trauma bonded during residency. She motivates me to be a better version of me, and to take care of myself. She loves to travel the world and inspires me to do the same. We do hot yoga together Monday nights, but not without the sound bath meditation.
Nikita Sankar
Nikita Sankar - Bridesmaid
Nikita and I also met/trauma bonded through residency. We were always chatting at work about everything which made long hard days so much easier. She was always willing to listen, no matter how busy she got, even if the topic was boy/family trouble, new skin care recommendations, or new food recs. I credit her with getting me into Matcha and Chai Tea Latte's. ;) Ps. Dog in the photo is Enzo!
Angel Sicam
Angel Sicam - Bridesmaid
Angel and I met in PT school. We share a love for plants, cats, hiking, and cooking. Cooking together is one of my favorite things to do with her. She is definitely head chef, while I chop /dice the veggies and yap away. Whenever we travel together, we always shared a bed, even if it became sandy. ;) Angel is loving and "small"' but I would not have it any other way.

Grooms Party

Paul Escalera - Best Man

I've known Paul Escalera since high school, but it wasn't until after we graduated that our friendship really hit its stride. One of my favorite memories is the time we went to a jazz club in Fullerton to catch his professor's jazz combo - the music was amazing, the service was historically bad, and we laughed about it for weeks.

Choosing him as my best man was an easy decision - he's been a constant in my life always ready with advice and the first to show up when I need him. He’s the kind of guy who could give a toast that makes the whole room feel something.

If our friendship were a movie, it’d be something like Rhythm & Rebels. It perfectly suits us as two guys into jazz, Star Wars, and the occasional acts of mischief.

Michael Gonzalez - Groomsman
I’ve known Michael since high school. We’ve lived together, gamed together, and practically grown up side by side. From our legendary mini-golf battles to countless late-night hangouts, he’s been a constant in my life. Compassionate, creative, and hilarious, Michael is always up for anything and brings great energy wherever he goes. A skilled drummer and devoted Marvel and Nintendo fan, you’ll probably find him at the reception catching up with close friends and keeping the conversation flowing.
Carlos Alexander-Rueda Yamada - Groomsman
Carlos and I have been friends since high school. We’ve lived together, stayed up way too late playing League and random MMOs, and shared countless good times. He always leaned toward necromancer builds while I did my own thing, but we made a great team. Carlos is energetic, earnest, and just the right amount of cheeky. He’s an amazing drummer, a die-hard Pokémon fan, and always ready to drop Star Wars trivia. At the reception, you can bet he’ll be quoting movies or doing impressions of me, keeping the laughs going all night.
Rhodri Vista - Groomsman
I met Rhodri about eight years ago when I first started working at CarMax, and he’s been one of the most welcoming and fun people I’ve had the chance to work with. From dodging responsibilities during COVID shifts to $1 glizzy nights at Dodger Stadium and group Korean BBQ runs, we’ve shared some great memories. Affectionate, daring, and passionate, Rhodri brings a contagious energy to every room. He’s a real estate agent and a proud Lakers fan, and at the reception, don’t be surprised if he’s tearing up the dance floor or attempting to grind on the groom.
Oscar Arreola - Groomsman
I’ve known Oscar for about eight years, ever since we met working at CarMax. We’ve spent a lot of time goofing around and talking all things sports, especially Dodgers baseball. Whether we were making our own version of GeoGuessr during COVID or stressing over playoff games, he's always been a great presence to be around. Proactive, kind, and sincere, Oscar is the guy you can always count on. He’s a dedicated Dodgers fan, proud owner of an impressive bobblehead collection, and commissioner of the CarMax fantasy football league. At the reception, you’ll probably find him dancing or backing up Rhodri in whatever mischief is going down.

Officiant

Vikesha Vega
Vikesha Vega - Officiant
Vikesha was 8 y/o when she became our third wheel. She is the bride's little sister. Vikesha and Bryan have known each other for many years now, and they truly have a brother-sister relationship, always nagging each other but always being there for one another, too. Vikesha has been there since the beginning and has never stopped rooting for us. We both use each other for advice and enjoy having drinking nights, yapping about the past week's troubles. When it came to picking an officiant, we wanted someone who knew us, who knew the ins/outs of our story, and was someone we adored. We couldn't be happier to introduce to you Vikesha, our little sister, as our wedding officiant.
