Is there a dress code?
Yes, we kindly ask that all guests adhere to a Black Tie dress code. For men, this means a dark colored tuxedo and for women a floor-length dress/gown. Between the cobblestones of San Miguel and the grassy areas between event spaces at the venue, we would recommend women steer clear of wearing very thin stiletto heels.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are intentionally keeping our wedding intimate and unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.
When / how should i RSVP?
We have opted to use digital RSVP's (tab can be found on the website). You should be able to RSVP for yourself and anyone in your invited party. We would greatly appreciate your RSVP's as soon as possible in order to properly plan our destination wedding with our vendors! If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you still let us know at the soonest opportunity.
Will there be transportation to the wedding?
Yes. We will have a number of shuttles departing from a designated location in Zona Centro / Downtown San Miguel prior to the ceremony; as well as return shuttles later on in the evening. More details to come.
Will there be transportation to the Welcome Party?
No. Walking is definitely the preferred mode of transportation in San Miguel due to the narrow streets and our Welcome Party venue will be within walking distance of all the suggested hotels. As the streets are all cobblestone, please be mindful of your footwear choice.
What is the weather in the area in October?
San Miguel de Allende experiences average daytime temperatures between 75 - 80 degrees Fahrenheit in mid-October, with nighttime temperatures in the mid 60s to high 50s. While our ceremony (covered) and cocktail hour will be outdoors, our reception will take place in a tent. Some wind is to be expected at our venue, so bringing a shawl or something to cover up later at night is recommended!
