If traveling east, please be aware that the North Fork at this time of year is often crowded with tourists and day-trippers, which adds considerable time to your travel plans. While we are unable to predict how crowded the roads might be on our wedding day (here's hoping the "pumpkin pickers" have lessened), we suggest that in order to arrive at Our Lady of Good Counsel in time for our

ceremony, you plan to be at (either Exit 71-72-73) the Riverhead exits by 1:00 pm at the latest as it will take approx. 45 minutes to travel the route from the Long Island Expressway-Riverhead to the church in Mattituck for our ceremony.

From Our Lady of Good Counsel (on Main Road/ Rte 25) to The Halyard (Rte 48 / Sound Avenue / North Road-same road). Mini-map below. Approx. 25 minutes. Main Rd & Sound Ave run parallel to each other. You will need to head east and north from church parking lot.

Good news! Daylight savings ends at midnight on Sunday, November 7th so everyone gets an extra hour of sleep!
