It was just another TCU away game in Dallas, Texas in September of 2019. Both Patrick and Caitlin threw on their best purple attire to cheer on their Horned Frogs, with neither party knowing the night would end in meeting their future husband/wife. If Caitlin's friend (and Bridesmaid) Keeley hadn't had Caitlin meet her at the bar, Hero, for the second half of the game, and if Patrick hadn't been there cheering for the Frogs near the booth Caitlin and her friends would sit in, they would still be ships in the night. Patrick stood by the bar towards the end of the game with his friends when he heard "Go Frogs" yelled in their direction. Patrick claims Caitlin specifically said it to him; however, Caitlin insists she was just being friendly to some fellow Horned Frogs. Intentions aside, Caitlin and Patrick immediately bonded over common TCU memories. With some encouragement from Patrick's friend (and groomsman) Nick Dmochowski, Patrick asked for Caitlin's number. The rest is history!

After some digging, Caitlin and Patrick have discovered a few pictures in which they were in the backgrounds of each other's photos. Turns out, they were at dozens of the same events throughout college, never actually meeting. Both say they are happy to have had their separate TCU experiences, but still share the bond TCU brings.
