Enjoy the great Wyoming outdoors from one of the many hikes offered at Vedauwoo State Park, located 23 miles east of Laramie. One of our favorite hikes to do is the Turtle Rock Loop Trail!
There are a variety of local restaurants and shops to enjoy in downtown Laramie. Some of our favorite spots include Altitude Chop House & Brewery, Bond's Brewery, Born in a Barn, and Front Street. Stop in stores like Poppy's, The Curiosity Shop, and The Knothole!
Albany Lodge is located 30 miles west of Laramie. They offer a range of activities such as UTV rentals, kayak rentals, and fishing in the Medicine Bow National Forest. Albany Lodge also offers a great bar and restaurant!
Mirror lake is at the base of the highest peak of the Medicine Bow National Forest. Being 12,013 feet in elevation, Medicine Bow Peak is a must see!

Visit Caitlin's favorite hangout spot while she was attending Colorado State University! Located one hour south of Laramie, Horsetooth Reservoir has a variety of boating, hiking, paddle boarding, and swimming options! There are also multiple parking lots with picnic tables to enjoy a nice picnic on the east side!
