Beautiful outdoor amphitheater, carved into natural rocks! It’s super cool just to go see the theater but there’s also several beautiful trails all surrounding the area! They even offer yoga classes on weekend mornings throughout the summer!
Golden is a cute little town with some awesome breweries, shops and restaurants to explore. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, hike golden gate canyon, watch the sunset at Lookout Mountain, or go tubing down the river!
Psychedelic museum-not for the faint of heart! Intricate and zany art, hidden rooms, and lots of exploring!
Soak in geothermal caves, enjoy decadent spa treatments or reserve a secluded private tub! About 20 minutes from the venue.
Support a local Denver business and reserve a wine tasting!
Get some of the best ice cream Denver has to offer! Also, one of Denver’s most famous restaurants is right next door called Linger (previously a mortuary turned into a restaurant!).
This is our favorite park in downtown Denver. Beautiful area to walk, run, bike, have a picnic, or dog-watch!
Cocktail bar with virtual golf and other games!
About an hour from Golden, a mile hike to get to this stunning glacier lake! Just keep in mind that the altitude will make physical activity a bit more difficult but I think this one was worth it! Make it a day trip and stop at Indian Hot Springs while out that way!
About an hour and a half from Golden, this is probably the best place for hikes, camping and stunning mountain views. Will have to plan this in advance because you need a reservation in the summer months to get into the park.
Also an hour and a half from Golden but theres SO much to do in the Springs. Visit the United States Air Force Academy, the Olympic training facility, hike seven falls, go to Pub Dog or Ivywild! Feel free to reach out for more recommendations here.
