1/2007: Shane & Caitlin meet after Caitlin cold-calls him to learn more about an academic program in which she is interested that Shane is currently in.

2/2007: Shane & Caitlin start spending time together and go on their first date. They have their first kiss after a late-night trip to Waffle House.

3/2008: Shane & Caitlin say "I love you" for the first time.

2008-2011: Shane & Caitlin maintain a long-distance relationship between various cities (Carrollton & Milledgeville, Fayetteville & Milledgeville, and Milledgeville & Jacksonville.).They both finish undergrad and Shane goes to ATC school.

8/2011: Shane & Caitlin move to Hattiesburg, Mississippi where Caitlin starts graduate school. Shane gets hired with the FAA a few months later and starts work in Gulfport.

10/2013: Shane & Caitlin move into another house in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and become proud parents of their precious pups, Phineas and Ophelia.

7/2016: Caitlin and the pups moves to St. Petersburg, Florida to complete her predoctoral internship. Shane jet-sets to visit her and the pups often.

11/2016: Shane moves to Houston, Texas to start his job with Houston Center.

7/2017: Caitlin, Shane, and the pups reunite in Houston, Texas. The family is back together again!

8/2017: Shane takes Caitlin on a trip to the Pacific Northwest to celebrate the completion of her Ph.D. He romantically proposes a few days into the trip on a secluded shore of Lake Washington following a hike. Caitlin enthusiastically says "yes!" They spend the rest of the the trip celebrating.

Present: Shane & Caitlin are so grateful to finally settle down in the same city. They anxiously await the day they can say "I Do!" after over 10 years together.
