RSVP Questions

When do I have to RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than July 15, 2025 to ensure that we are ready to celebrate with you!

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

You can RSVP either way - We just ask that you RSVP on time!

Transportation / Hotel Questions

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

We would recommend either taking a ride share service or driving, if possible. If you know people in the area also attending our wedding, feel free to carpool. Commonly used public transportation options in the bay area do not reach our venue.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Yes! Please see the travel tab for additional information about the reserved blocks of rooms at hotels within approx. 20 minutes of our venue.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

No, we do not plan to provide shuttles to/from the hotel(s) to our venue. We highly recommend using a rideshare service, driving, or carpooling!

What is the address of the wedding venue?

Deer Park Villa 367 Bolinas Rd Fairfax, CA 94930

Is there parking available at your wedding venue?

Yes! Deer Park Villa has parking for up to 50 vehicles, so please plan to carpool if you intend to drive. Additional parking is available down the street, but you will be required to walk so please use a ride share service or carpool, if possible!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and dinner will be outdoors, with dancing to follow inside provided it does not rain! Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you anticipate requiring additional assistance, please let us know in advance and we will inform the venue.

Food / Drink Questions

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes! Please let us know in advance as part of your RSVP if you have any specific dietary restrictions and we will be sure to let our caterer know.

Will there be an open bar?

We are not going to have an open bar for our wedding and appreciate your understanding. However, each guest will be provided 2-3 drinks each depending on cost, not including soda, coffee, tea, or water options that will be provided throughout the wedding. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.

Dress Code Questions

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Additional Guest Questions

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately cannot accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on your wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We wish we could invite you and your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

Social Media / Photo Questions

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We would absolutely love if you took photos at our wedding! However, to avoid significant disruptions during the ceremony, we would appreciate if you would be sure to silence your cell phones and take any pictures while seated and from eye level. We will also make sure to repeat this reminder on our wedding day.

Can I post photos on social media? / Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Anyone who knows us will know that neither of us post very much on social media, but we welcome any and all posts about our wedding on your own accounts! If you would like to use it as part of your post, our wedding hashtag is #StoleHerHartley (Credit to Ariella Hartley and Kristen Pinto for the idea). Please also consider either tagging us in your post or sending the photos to us separately for us to keep!

Miscellaneous Questions

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Our registry is accessible through our wedding website! Please navigate to the tab entitled "Registry" and you will find additional details on the resulting page.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. Please request the address via email to either cemit@comcast.net or justinhh@uci.edu. A wedding card box will be available on our wedding day.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Any significant updates regarding our wedding will be sent via email update for consistent communication! (Now it makes sense why they asked for my email...)
