Q + A

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Outside of the welcome cocktail reception on Friday, March 10th and the wedding on Saturday, March 11th, there are not any formal events for the wedding weekend. The bride and groom will set up some informal "events" at the resort where guests are welcome to stop by and socialize if they would like on the 9th & 10th. These are completely optional, as we would like everyone to enjoy their trip and all-inclusive vacation however they see fit! These informal events will be communicated to all guests in the coming months.

Do you have a wedding registry?

We ask only for the gift of your attendance at our wedding! If any guests insist upon providing a gift, we would graciously accept contributions towards our honeymoon excursions, which can be found on the Registry page of this website.

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Our ceremony will be "unplugged", which means we ask that you please keep phones and cameras away during this time. We have photographers and videographers that will capture the entire ceremony, and we will share those all with you through the Google Photos album added to the Photos page! Photos at the cocktail hour and reception are welcomed and encouraged!

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and gentlemen should wear a dress shirt and slacks, with tie and jacket optional. We also request that all ladies attending the wedding avoid white or cream dresses!

How do we travel from the airport to the Sandals Resort?

Sandals will provide shuttles between the airport and the resort based on the flight arrival times of guests, or you can arrange for private transfer! See the Travel page for more information.

What is the time and location for the ceremony and reception?

The ceremony will take place at 4pm at the Roman Gazebo on resort, with a cocktail hour from 5-6pm at the Manor Terrace (just next door!), and a reception on the Manor Lawn from 6-10pm (also next door). The resort will provide transportation to and from the wedding location from the main part of the resort where the hotel is located.

Are children allowed to attend the wedding?

Unfortunately, the entire sandals resort is 21+, so children will not be able to attend the wedding.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The events on the wedding day will all take place outdoors! In the event of inclement weather, the events will move to the nearby ballroom.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

The cocktail hour and reception will feature an open bar! Hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour, followed by a four course meal at the reception.
