Like most thirty something year olds, we met the classic way in a bar when a couple friends introduced us. It took some time for Matthew to ask Caitlyn for her number since both of us were there to wingman/women for our friends. It was Matthew's clever pickup line of "Phone numbers, funny huh. What's yours?" that started it all. Luckily we had our friends looking out for us, and we didn't have to wait weeks before we went on our first date.

We have been having fun together every day since exploring the world and also just hanging out doing nothing at home. We most recently went over to Europe for a couple weeks, making a couple trips to the Jameson Distillery - Matthew's pick and to see the Eras Tour - Caitlyn's pick. When we aren't exploring the world, we enjoy being home binge watching Good Girls, The Bear, and currently House of Dragons. We also like to play a lot of cribbage, well one of us is a card shark and the other.....well they have great qualities too :)

Matthew did a great job keeping the engagement a secret. He asked Caitlyn to marry him in the backyard on their way to what she thought was going to be an ordinary date night. After the big surprise and calling our families, we recreated our first date.
